Rory Sabbatini confirmed participation in the Penati Slovak Open 2026 tournament

Rory Sabbatini, the ambassador of the Penati Slovak Open tournament, and also its winner from 2019, will be at the start again in 2026. Surely you all remember his exciting iconic shootout with Ondřej Lieser, the winner of the next year, on the 18th hole. And that is what the Penati Slovak Open is all about. Always iconic, an exciting tournament with excellent golf that will not leave you sitting on a chair in the clubhouse.
Rory Sabbatini also thanked the organizers for the opportunity to be part of this tournament and wished Paľo Bielik and Peta Petrovič good luck in preparing this year’s Penati Slovak Open. This year, Rory Sabbatini is preparing for the PGA TOUR CHAMPIONS tournament season, which is also played in Morocco.

The Penati Slovak Open tournament will recognize its tenth winner in 2026. The first champion was Czech professional Petr Nič in 2017, who triumphed on the Heritage Course at the Penati Golf Resort. Adam Puchmelter from Poprad, who is also the second Slovak winner of this tournament, will try to defend last year’s victory and repeat his excellent form.

The Penati Slovak Open will have the highest prize money in its history in 2026. The winner will again take home €10,000, while a total of €30,000 will be shared among the 25 best players who pass the CUT after two rounds. In addition to these 25 professionals, a handful of excellent amateur players can also get through the CUT and will once again fight for points in the World Amateur Golf Ranking.

Similar to previous years, the Penati Slovak Open will be broadcast via the official YouTube channel @slovakopen, which will be enhanced with additional interesting features that will be more meaningful to viewers.
